I truly would like to find out what happened to my other 471 active intents. So I made that my latest Intent: to find back my other 471 active intents :)
My intent has already been fulfilled. I found everything back under "my current intents". So this problem was quickly solved :) Please discard my first comment.
Hi Alex -- I understand this is logical (to someone) and it is going to take some time for me to figure out someone else's logic, however, I guess, for me, I would like to know how it was envisioned that this new format would be used? I love the look but it is sooo different from the old site (news flash, huh?), that I have honestly been sitting here this past week wondering what to do with it all.
My goal is to, of course, post thoughtful intents and I love how we are able to expand our thoughts and needs on each one -- the part that boggles me is how to remember where I've placed (which category) my intent so I may go back to it and respond to any comments of support made by others. I am considering "staying put" in one category to make it easier not to miss anyone's comments. I also find it so time consuming (and hard to remember as to where I've been) to go back to supports I've given to others to see if they have made further comments or just continue a "conversation" about their intent or such. I don't "follow" individuals because I want to "follow" EVERYONE -- perhaps, this is one of the "glitches" I am speaking of -- which is of my own doing.
It is hard to tell if it is my computer at fault, but I've noticed the main page loading and the toggling from category to category very often changes speeds, sometimes fast, sometimes very slow and sometimes back to the old very, very, slowwww.. I'm wondering, too, if our original profile will be restored -- you know, the little blurb about who we are?
Wheww -- okay, now, that your eyes have probably glazed over, I'll end my blabbering, blubbering and badgering. Know that, I do appreciate everyone's dedication and hard work in making this site a continuing gathering place for those of us who are seeking a mindful, compassionate support system, like no other. Since it's inception, so many years ago, this concept has been important to Mallika and all of us who surround her -- we're in this together and will continue to be so -- it is THAT SPECIAL, it is THAT IMPORTANT...Jeannie
You can always find all your current intents on your profile page and you can keep track of who all you have supported from the recent activity feed on your profile page.
We would love to hear more of your thoughts though - what you are liking and what not. Please email us at support... :)
At the bottom of your screen, click "your profile". This page collects everything you do on the site in one place. When you click that link you can see "Your activity" which is all the things you've done on other people's intents (comments, supports, etc.)
Then, click on "Current Intents" just to the right of "Your Activity". This lists every intent you've ever had so you can easily check in on each intent, or any intent. It also shows how many comments and supports each intent has. Is this what you were looking for?
Oh and one other thing-- on the profile page check out the white box on the sidebar called "Explore Intent". This allows you to see all of the intents on the site-- either grouped by most recent, most support, etc. Give it a try, I think that's probably what you're looking for when it comes to following "everyone".

Just now reading...thank you for helping us to adapt, Alex! There have been 2 changes for me....I left as I was lost with the last one, I'm even more lost now......I can't find my old Intent friends (and miss being able to message them, as well as receive updates on them thru my email)....<3
