I intend to love in a way that heals and liberates, and relish the Freedom of Love...
WHY? Maybe you too have had the experience of unconsciously wishing to 'change' someone you care about...or, maybe you've experienced the situation in reverse. It never feels good, because when we do that, we've left Love behind. Love doesn't control or coerce, ego does that. Love simply allows and accepts...and Life, and relationships, with our family, our friends, and significant others, just feels better.
As I was meditating on this tonight, the Harmony candle I was burning suddenly formed two flames...and then, the flames joined as one...in a circle...an affirmation that Love connects, in Harmony, Peace and Unity.
HOW TO HELP: A very wise and loving friend once said, "When you are free, I am free...please be free". I never forgot that advice...something we all need to remember.
INSPIRATION: Love, Harmony, Freedom...
So very beautiful and powerfully free. Love is like the stem of the Lotus flower allowing and carrying the nourishment of the roots buried in the mucky mud to feed the beautiful bloom and the bloom's gathering of the sun's light to return and strengthen the roots. We can focus on the bloom or we can see only the mud. The stem, with Loving Grace and Acceptance, whispers I accept both as One. Relish the freedom.... It is the heartbeat of Essence.

Beth...thank you...as no conversation about the human heart would be complete without a vision of the beautiful Lotus...whose stem also reminds me of a bridge between Heaven and Earth, through which the Divine energies of Highest Love are drawn down deep into the roots, bringing Life to where there once had been only potential Life...the halfway point where one and One are ONE...x

A gentle friend once handed me a piece of paper and a mirror and asked me to look into the mirror and read aloud. The words were from Thomas Hardy's "Far from the Maddening Crowd" and spoken by the character Gabriel Oaks. ""And at home by the fire, whenever you look up there I shall be— and whenever I look up, there will be you." At first, though the words were beautiful I did not understand. My gentle friend smiled, and said one day I would. I kept doing it until the light dawned. As you said Bridget, to know the precious Love of Self, needing no other validation, at home at the Hearth of Essence, then we can truly "look up" in love that is free.

I don't try to change, but I do try to share what I know... because I see how easy it is to cross the path between suffering and accepting...and others have shared with me... Am I trying to change them or help them bloom and reach their potential? It is a fine line...and I guess the difference is love...
