try both at the same time! one of the most funnest things i've ever done, when i lived in a house with a backyard pool, was go swimming with my dog. especially the part when he'd slap the water with his paws and then try to catch the splashes with his mouth. it was like there was no more fun thing that could be possible for him to do. that's a lab for ya. hahahahahaha!
