I fully support your intent! I think the word "poverty" has lost its edge over time. John Edwards talked a lot about poverty, but other causes tend to leapfrog over it. Poverty is a direct contributor to the abuse and neglect of children, particularly in the absence of social support for the caregiver(s). I fully support your intent to address all three interrelated issues!
