I intend to raise my son to respect and admire women.
WHY? Boys and men, women and girls must learn to live together harmoniously, with mutual respect. Violence against women is perpetrated, in many cases, because respect has not been taught or if need be, enforced.
HOW TO HELP: Our men are important champions. Our fathers, husbands, sons, friends. Violence against women is serious, and occurs across the globe. We need men to be engaged in the dialog, and part of the intention to bring it swiftly to an end.
INSPIRATION: Women who, despite the most difficult situations, manage to find their freedom, and become guiding lights for the rest of us.
