My intent is to pause before I react.

WHY? Reacting impulsively has a ripple effect of stress and potential miscommunication. I have learned the hard way not to react immediately, especially via email. Take a deep breath. Wait a few minutes or hours or even a day, cultivate thoughtful responses and react mindfully.

HOW TO HELP: Share your thoughts or stories on how you have successfully reacted to fearful and stressful situations!

I am still working on this. Realize I have to remind myself of this intent daily. Thank you everyone for the support!

I find often it is difficult still to "wake up" before the passionate reaction so thanks for the timely reminder as always
