How we roll
Prior to founding <intent>, Richard was SVP, Strategy and Distribution at Travelocity. He led the Travelocity Partner Network, which grew to over $2B in sales during his tenure. Richard was a co-founder of Site59, an innovator in online travel technology and merchandising. He was Site59’s VP, Strategy and Business Development and then CFO through the company’s acquisition by Travelocity, which was then taken private by TPG and Silverlake. Earlier in his career, Richard worked at the Boston Consulting Group and Orion Consultants. Richard holds a BA from Harvard and an MBA from INSEAD. When not in the office, Richard grows corn on his fire escape.
Prior to founding <intent>, Damon served as President for Travelocity Europe and deputy CEO for lastminute.com. Previously, Damon was co-founder and General Manager of Site59. Earlier in his career, Damon worked at Diageo and at the Boston Consulting Group. Damon holds an AB from Dartmouth College. When not at work, Damon enjoys taking big adventures like driving cross country, sailing around the world, or exploring New York City, family-style, with his wife, two children, and no itinerary.
Before <intent>, Adam was a Product Manager at Right Media and then Yahoo! (after the Right Media acquisition), where he developed a wide range of products and tools for the Right Media Exchange, with a focus on behavioral targeting technologies. Previously, Adam was a Senior Project Manager at TSYS Prepaid and a Vice President of Technology at Goldman Sachs. He started his career as a physics and computer science teacher at New York City’s Dominican Academy. Adam holds a BSc in Physics from Imperial College London and an MA in Physics from Columbia University in New York. When not in the office, Adam tries to make the most of every available moment with his family.
Laurie has more than 25 years of experience as a sales and marketing leader at various technology companies including Thrive Global, Curalate and Oracle Data Cloud. Most notably, Laurie was part of the executive leadership team at Datalogix that transformed the business into the world’s largest data company for marketers. It was sold to Oracle in 2015 at a 33X return to investors. Prior to Datalogix, Laurie worked at several start-ups all of which were either acquired by IBM, Satmetrix or Mode Media. Laurie was born and educated in England, spent some of her childhood in Asia, and now resides between Florida and New York with her two sons who attend school in Miami.
Tom has spent the past 25 years in high growth online media companies. Career highlights include leading a finance team at Agency.com(ACOM) as the company grew from <100 employees to >1,700 in a few years prior to going public on the NASDAQ, and running the Americas division as a Managing Director for Matomy Media Group (MTMY) which went public on the London Exchange. Across public, private, PE and VC backed companies, Tom has held CFO and COO titles with a keen focus on enterprise value creation. When not at work, Tom’s greatest passions are family, fitness, coaching, and being outdoors with his dogs. Tom grew up in Brooklyn and started his career as a Certified Public Accountant.
Blaga has an extensive background in building and managing high growth engineering teams and products. She has also developed scalable solutions for Fortune 500 companies, such as Ford and General Dynamics. Prior to <intent>, Blaga was a founding member of Voyat, a guest retention platform for the hospitality industry, which was acquired by <intent> in 2016. Blaga holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Oakland University. In her free time, Blaga enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband and very active baby boy.
Ori has been passionate about software development since writing his first program at the age of 8. He has over fifteen years of experience in developing real-time, highly available big data systems. And also in building and leading engineering teams. At <intent>, Ori is leading a talented group of engineers charged with the development of Intent’s media products and technology. Prior to <intent>, he has worked at Traiana (acquired by ICAP), a FinTech company, where he focused on building real-time risk management and post-trade products. Ori holds a BS in computer science from the Open University of Israel. When not in the office, Ori enjoys spending time with his family, ideally on the beach with a volleyball nearby.
Lynne has dedicated her career to driving rapid growth in companies. Prior to <intent>, Lynne ran Sales and Marketing at Moji, a Chicago-based startup specializing in recovery products for endurance athletes. Previously, Lynne was the Executive Director of the Latino Student Fund, a non-profit dedicated to ensuring equal access to education for K-12 Hispanic youth. Lynne holds a BA from Boston College and an MBA from Chicago Booth. At home, Lynne is mostly a climbing gym for her two small children. In her few moments of free time, she opts for some Netflix and nap.
Originally from California, Kirstin moved to New York to further her career in the community of east coast startups that are pushing the boundaries of what it means to be an employee. Prior to <intent>, Kirstin led the employee learning and engagement programs at Quirky, whose leaders were able to foster one of the strongest company cultures she’s ever seen. She brings this culture-forward mentality to <intent> where she leads a team of like-minded individuals, passionate about creating a place where all feel welcome and love coming to work to tackle challenging problems. When not in the office, Kirstin enjoys discovering new restaurants with friends and family. She also likes to spend time outdoors and regularly finds herself running through the streets and parks of New York City listening to true crime podcasts.
Before <intent>, Jay led client services and ad operations at Proclivity Media, a programmatic display advertising platform. Prior to that, Jay spent six years building and leading client services teams at Acxiom for online direct marketers across various industries. Jay holds a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from Georgetown University. When not in the office, Jay can be found at any number of Brooklyn playgrounds with his wife and young daughter.
Shehzad is passionate about using software to solve problems. He has nurtured this passion through years of experience in digital advertising, data analysis, web analytics, machine learning, and ecommerce merchandising. Prior to <intent>, Shehzad worked at [x+1], a New-York based marketing technology company that provided its users with DSP, DMP, tag management, and mobile advertising technology. At <intent>, Shehzad has led the development of our Predictive Intelligence Platform and the underlying applications for traffic acquisition and on-site personalization. Shehzad holds a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. When not in the office, Shehzad enjoys yoga, art, traveling and dancing.
Susan crafts B2B and B2B2C marketing strategies for tech and media companies. She built high performing teams at AddThis (acquired by Oracle), and Google where she led marketing for the travel vertical, and then large advertiser marketing for Adwords. Susan helped create Webby award-winning Think Insights – now Thinkwithgoogle.com – and was personally awarded Google’s highest sales award for direct revenue-driving impact. Just prior to <intent>, she ran her own consultancy where she contributed to marketing strategies for high-growth startups (Axial), growth-stage companies (Resonate), and established market leaders (YouTube). Educated at Texas A&M University, Wharton Business School, and HBX, Susan’s approach is collaborative, humble, data-driven, and hands-on.
